Every Connections application has its own favicon. Our current customer wants to replace them by 1 corporate favicon.
After looking trough the documentation, we found that this is not very well documented. Therefore this article.
After some help from IBM support and some help from Salim to rectify an error in the feedback from support this is what you need to do
Locate the customization directory location by referencing the WebSphere variable CONNECTIONS_CUSTOMIZATION_PATH.
Once located, place your custom favicon image at the following paths,

<CONNECTIONS_CUSTOMIZATION_PATH>\javascript\com\ibm\oneui3\styles\imageLibrary\Icons\ComponentsGray\ProfilesGray.ico
Bookmarks
<CONNECTIONS_CUSTOMIZATION_PATH>\javascript\com\ibm\oneui3\styles\imageLibrary\Icons\ComponentsGray\BookmarksGray .ico
